MESCEL project presented at DIM-ESEE 2025 Conference in Dubrovnik

The MESCEL project was represented at the DIM-ESEE 2025 conference, held from 15 to 17 October 2025 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The DIM-ESEE conference originates from a lifelong learning initiative developed in close collaboration with industry, focusing on knowledge transfer and strengthening innovation capacities in the fields of mining, recycling, and waste management.
During the event, the MESCEL team had the opportunity to present and discuss the development of an advanced electrochemical process for the recovery of tungsten (W) and cobalt (Co) from hardmetal waste. The conference provided an excellent platform for exchanging ideas and experiences with students, researchers, and experts from Eastern and Southeastern Europe, fostering dialogue on innovative and sustainable approaches to raw material recovery.
Participation in such events reinforces MESCEL’s commitment to sustainable innovation, international collaboration, and the advancement of circular economy practices in the raw materials sector.
